Sq42 - Male Base Body Update
This character is an update to the base male body that I made for CIG in 2016. We had an opportunity to update this body for Squadron42 and I was able to correct and improve the proportions and anatomy.
This body is quite a bit slimmer than the last body I made. This body update was done to account for the average head size of our actor heads. The slimmer frame also helps to make the clothes we simulate on it more appealing.
The overall physique was also re-sculpted to be less ripped. I think this version is less “cg écorché” and a bit more natural. This new body was also sculpted with a lot of 3d body scans as reference so I was able to improve on some previous anatomical shapes and attachments.
Unfortunately we are still locked to the joint lengths set up before I started at CIG. This body also has limbs that feel a bit too long.
This asset was done in the spring of 2022.
