Nvidia - Sol Robot

The Sol Robot was a character I helped make for an Nvidia cinematic showcasing real time ray tracing.

Basically, I took a concept painting by Phil Saunders and sculpted the character out in Zbrush. This was basically a concept sculpt that was dynamesh and still a bit wobbly.

After that my friend Alessandro Baldesseroni did the real work of retop'ing it, uv’s, textures and look dev. This character is really something he made, I just helped by doing the initial concept sculpt. He was also nice enough to let me share his final renders in my portfolio.

I really like how funny the trailer ended up being.
