Dark Souls II
The Dark Souls II cinematic was this piece that had a very abstract storyline. It was a series of vignettes of this warrior in different environments.
On this show I polished up a dragon creature for the final shot. This dragon was originally made for another older show. We re-purposed it for this cinematic. What I did was basically rework the textures and shaders.
I also did a set of body morphs to bulge muscles and inflate the neck during the fire breath. It's subtle, but if you watch the dragon's arms and neck carefully in the video you can see it.
This work was done in the winter of 2012. Textures were done in Mari and Photoshop, rendered with VRay.
